Gosh, Sweetie, you have been through SO much in the past year!!!  I hate that you have to do the hospital thingy again, but am so grateful that it is something that can be resolved quickly.  Do you have someone to care for the Pugly-Uglies while you are away?  Anything I can do to help?

Darcie,

I am sorry about the gall stones.  I had my gall bladder out about 3 years ago.  I do not remember having any pain with the surgery.  I hope you will not either.  Maybe one day soon I will get down your way and be able to see you all again.

When I woke up this morning I had you on my mind wondering how your test came out now we know.
I am wondering could you see Dr. Mann before the 22nd?
I have heard gallbladder problems are very painful.

Gallstones are EVIL!!!! I had a whole bunch of them 3 weeks after I had Keeley and was admitted into the naval hospital for 4 days, but they did NOT remove it, because i was still in recovery from a c-section!! Then of course Dr. Pender did not remove it during my RNY...so i pray I do not have problems! BUT anyways, what I was trying to get to, the surgeon from the naval hospital sent me home with ACTIGALL..the pill supposedly dissolves the gallstones and makes them go away temporarily...you should ask Dr. Mann about that! I have heard others that take those post op!! It may be an option to save you from surgery!!
Can't wait to see you on the 7th :)

Hey Darcie,

I guess that's good and bad news. Good because you don't have ulcer, not so good since it will probably require another surgery. I had mine out 6 weeks after Sarah was born and it was done lap. I'll bet you'll be up and around in no time flat.

I'm sorry you are having to go through this.

Hugs,

Barb

Darcie,

I'm sorry you have to have to go through this!  My gallbladder had to come out around Christmas last year and it was an easy recovery, I hope yours goes just as well.  Let me know if you need anything since I'm just up the road...

I am so sorry to hear that, my doctor says alot of his patiences develop gallstones, where is the pain on scale of 1- 10, with 10 being unbearable.  I hope that you will get a good report with your next visit and recover quickly. Good luck and keep us updated.
