You must really feel a sense of relief knowing her leg is fine after all. I would have worried if my child had to go through all this and fell too.

Yes, we are all relieved that there is no permanent damage from the fall. She still has some evidence of a strain and the resulting swelling, but it's temporary and manageable. Thank goodness there was no irreversible damage.

Absolutely fantastic news! So happy for Miss Sarah! She is such a brave young lady and is well on her way to living a better and more mobile life! She SO deserves that! Ya'll enjoy the rest of the trip in NYC.

We are doing some back to school shopping for her today as we prepare to have her start her HS career when we get back. I know that she'll have some things that no one else will have.

It looks like she may decide to have the other leg done next year. We'll have to wait and see I guess, it's not a decision that I can make for her. It's one she'll have to come to herself.

Barb,  I was so happy to see your post and that Sarah is more than okay...that she is doing great!  Perhaps by the next visit, she will know in her heart of hearts if and when she is ready to go ahead with the next round.  In the meantime, I wish her (and you!) the best on developing the strength and flexibility she needs and wants.  Have fun shopping!  {{{Hugs!!!}}}
