Happy one year Surgiversary to me!!!
One year ago at this exact time their was a girl sitting in
Pre op at Pitt Memorial Hospital. After 5 attempts someone F I N A L L Y got her IV going and Dr. Mann came in and checked on her. In a few hours she woke up in recovery and forgot where she was. About an hour later she was wheeled into her room where her husband was waiting with the cutest and softest Surgery Bunny 
she spent the next two days at Pitt, not a great stay as Morphine did nothing to relieve the pain and made me sick to my stomach. Anyways fast forward one year today.
I have lost 105 lbs.
I can shop at any store even though I still feel I weigh 241.
my blood pressure is super normal and I am off high blood pressure meds.
I went from a size 18/20 to a 4/6 depending on the clothing designer.
I dont feel as sluggish or tired.
I am off high blood pressure medicine and my metabolic syndrome I had is gone and Im off the Metformin for that.
I hope to maitain the weight I am at. I am happy with this size and feel it looks good with my tall 5'7 body height
As a present for my big day my wonderful husband has ordered me my DREAM car..... a lot of you dont know but I am HUGE James Dean fan. I have thousands of his photos, tons of his books written about him, been to Indiana to the James Dean festival and have all his movies. The man was a total dream boat LOL anyways Ive always loved his last car he owned, unfortunately he was in a terrible wreck in that car and it ended his life. Sooo hubby has ordered the car for me a 1955 Spyder 550 Porsche. I wish I could say it is one of the orginals but they only made 90 of those and Porsche kept 12 of them and the rest went to race car drivers.. but thats ok.. this is a dream come true for me. The car is waiting in Long Beach California for its transport to North Carolina to my house. The car will live in the garage and no one will be allowed to breathe on it LOL soooo anyone in my area want to go for a cruise around town let me know.... Im sure we would have fun!!! Ive included some photos because Im so excited!!!

Anyways now that I have bored everyone I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that has helped me from start to finish and everyone in between!!! To the old salts who have helped me from day one.... Barb, Suzanne, Mare, Nancy, Ellen, Annie, Alice, Lisa, Deb you all are the best!! If I forgot anyone I apologize!! for those I have met after surgery Mindy, Jamie, Andrea, Amanda, Lynn, Grammy Lou and the rest of the meet up gang thanks for the support and friendship. I hope we can continue our support of one another as I feel it is a very important step
To those just starting or getting ready to have surgery OWN IT, WORK IT, JUST DO IT!!!

Congratulations on your first surgiversary!!!! You have done a great job of working your tool for the past year. That car is awesome!!!!!!!!! You have no idea what an inspiration you are to me. I will never forget your visit when I was in the hospital and how hopeful you made me feel. You deserve all the best that life has to offer.
