my 2nd 1st fill attempt a NO GO .....!!!!!!
as you all know, my fill last wk was a no go due to my dr not being able to access my port. so they rescheduled for today and would do it under XRAY.
im upset so ill give you the short version:
it was a no go for my fill. i was so upset. no one told me i couldnt eat or drink anything. and i ate like 30 min before my appt so i was sent back out and rescheduled for next wed. the nurse said she assumed i knew. im like IVE NEVER HAD A FILL SO HOW WOULD I KNOW. all dr mac told me is that he had to find my port under xray. there was no mention of a chalky substance i had to drink before and after my fill and that my tummy had to be empty. it was really frustrating especially having to take off from work. so i will go back next week.
having absolutely no restriction BITES!!
no weight loss since last friday. !!*REVISED- I WEIGHED BEFORE MY SHOWER AND WAS 2 POUNDS LESS 240.8 * WOW
im gonna go shower and go to bed.

I love that we're supposed to just "know" all these little details. That sucks that you didn't get your fill. Are you still in pain from last week's disaster? I hope it gets better for you sOOn. Stay away from the evil scale for a few days. Whoever invented them is sadistic.

Oh Melissa - I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this. I love Southern Surgical but they need to get better about telling their patients things like that. Especially when you have to miss a day from work just to go there. Try to stay on track and hopefully next time will be a success. Donna
