NERVOUS!!!

My preop appt is this friday.  I have gained 8 pounds since my consultation.  I am so nervous and scared that DR bauman is gonna fuss at me or even reschedule my surgery.  I have tried to loose weight....i have not been perfect but I have tried.  I have pcos and it makes it even harder!  Anyone have any experience with the dr rescheduling or giving you a hard time bc of weight gain before surgery.

Dr. Bauman is very strict on not gaining weight.  If you have gained weight the day of surgery he will rescedule it.  I was so scared about gaining weight I put myself on a liquid diet a week before preop and the week of my surgery.  I had only lost one pound at preop and I had lost about 10 the day of surgery.  Good Luck.

Try hard......He would not give me a surgery date till I lost 7 to 10 lbs. I had lost only 3 so he was not impressed.  I counted and measured every morsal that entered my body and lost 10.  So he gave me a date. If you gain weight the morning of the surgery he will cancel.  Good Luck
