I JUST RECEIVED MY SURGERY DATE FOR LAP BAND - YIKES!!!!!!

Thanks for the congrats!
I sent in all my required test results and lab work on 8/5/08. For two weeks I didn't hear a word. So finally I kept calling. This went on for 5 weeks and could never get a straight answer as to what my status was. Finally someone told me they truly could not find my records. Thought they were on someone's desk. This was a red flag to me. So I kept calling and finally someone in the office called on 9/15 and said the surgeon had approved my surgery. Then on 9/16 the nurse called and said she put my papers through to BCBS and by that afternoon they had approved my surgery. Maybe they have more help in the office now. The last part went so fast, my head was spinning.
