DO YOU REGRET YOUR WLS??????

Does anyone els feel this way. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I ABSOLUTELY had problems in the present without the surgery. I had Lap RNY on 4/23 and to date it was the best decision I've ever made. You can click on my account to read more, but I feel better than I ever have in my entire life.
I will admit, though, that I pay attention to Melting Mama and to Andrea U as they have very wise advice and suggestions -- and they will be the first ones I go to if a problem does arise.
Good luck with your surgery! Laura
Any surgery has risks - but so does avoiding surgery. It's time to do some soul searching and decide what's best for you in the long run (If you haven't done this already). We're here if you need to talk it through.
Good Luck and God bless - whatever the decision.

I'm also only 6 months out so it's difficult to say if I will have issues in the future, but I will say at this point, I DO NOT regret any decision I have made regarding my WLS. I've seen the video, and several of her others, and I occasionally read her blog. She is very knowledgeable and raises many good points about side effects of the surgery that don't get mentioned very often. I will say, however, that I think her issues are the exception and not the rule. I know MANY people who are 3-4 years+ out of surgery and are doing well. I think when everyone has given their opinion and you have read every blog and web site, the decision ultimately rests with you. Good luck to you.

High/Surg/current/goal - 320/253/150/healthy - I am 5' 3" tall - Size 8 now! Past surgeon's goal now!
No regrets yet...just VERY disappointed :(
At over 6 months out, my weight loss has been minimal. With Lap Band, it's all about the elusive restriction. I'm hoping to find it soon as I'm really getting up there with the amount of fill I have in my band. Thought I had it (restriction) only to be fooled again! I will seek out a revision surgery @ my 1 yr anniversary if I am still in the same boat as I am now.
Sorry to be a "Debbie Downer" but this is my reality.
