OT: Sarah has hurt her leg ...
Hi Rahsheeda,
Thank you for the good wishes and prayers. Both are much appreciated.
You are doing a fabulous job on your weight loss journey! I love those lovely collar bones that are poking out ;-) Keep up the great work.
All the best,
Barb

Hi Donna,
Thanks for the good thoughts and the prayers. I actually told Sarah pretty much the same thing. I think that she's probably done some temporary damage, but I'm hoping and praying that it's nothing permanent, as is she.
Thanks again,
Barb
P.S. I noticed from your ticker that you are really making some positive headway. Congratulations on all of your success. I know it's been a rough year, but you have done an absolutelyl amazing job. Keep up the good work my friend. B.

Deb,
Thanks for the prayers and support. I am sure it's been strained because it's swollen like a cantaloupe and since she had such major reconstructive surgery, when swelling occurs, it takes a long time for it to subside. She's icing, compressing and elavating it. I have her wearing her brace for now because it seems to give her some relief and we'll have her use it and/or a wheelchair when we travel so that it doesn't get further injured when we trek home and then on to NYC the following morning. I told Sarah and do believe that she probably has done some temporary damage when she fell, but there is a little nagging voice in the back of my head and hers that worries it might be something more serious. We'll all hope and pray for the best. She said that there was no way she'd have the right leg done after the painful surgery on the left, but now that this has happened, she said she'll be talking to the surgeon to see what will be involved in trying to 'fix' the right leg. Apparently, while it will require extensive work, it won't be the same as what was done to the left leg. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Dr. Feldman has to say.
Thanks again for the prayers, concern and support.
Barb
