I am home from the doctor's appt

Thanks for all the well wishers - it was easy...

I am averaging 3.8 pounds a week since surgery and feel so good.  I didn't realize I had done that well, but when I put it into that perspective, I feel great about it.  I weigh less than I did in February and I can't help but smile.  This is a great tool....

I will be on liquids for the rest of today and tomorrow and back to mushies on Friday.  No appt is set for the future, I will call when I feel there is no restriction or have questions.

I had my fill under fluro and got to watch the contrast going down.  That is neat - but then I find anything medical fascinating.

So I worried for nothing.... Thanks again for *being there with me* !  I needed you!

I'm glad that things have went so well. You are doing fantastic. I hope you keep loosing that good. Can't wait til I have mine in the next few months.

I know realistically I won't lose that well as time goes on, but it is the motivation that I need right now.  And I have so much more energy than I had even 2 months ago.

You will be in the same place soon, too.  I am so thankful for this opportunity...

Wowza, yowza, woman!  You are doing fantabulistic!!!  I am smiling right along with you. 

Did you get to see Dr. Hata today?  Is that who does your fills?  He is just the nicest person, I would really look forward to going if I knew it was going to be him I was going to see.  Of course, I've not met any of the other drs. with Hickory Surgical yet, but still...Dr. Hata is awesome.  The minute he came into our classroom and started speaking with us, I was like, "Shelia was right!"

Yes, Shauna, I got to see Dr. Hata.  And he was just as nice as he was the first time I met him.  He kept apologizing for making me wait - he had been in surgery.  He does the fills.  I don't think you could go wrong if you saw him...

Shelia, that is great news.  I am jealous!!!! LOL  You need to get us a new picture!!!

Thank you Vera - and I am thinking about a new hairstyle so maybe a new picture will be in the near future.  I am going to my neice's wedding next week in Memphis and I know there will be lots of pictures made...

It sounds like you are doing wonderfully. Your weight loss with the band is about equal to mine with the RNY. That's just fabulous!
