DISCOURAGE and sad

I've been doing some research and looking for answers..I'm not sure if I can start my WL journey.
Im trying to find insurance & ppl are telling me that a individual plan will NOT cover WLS. I work a full time job but they do not offer ins.

any advice?

Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

My sister in law's husband picked up NCBlue Cross just for him and her so she could get her lap band. It wasn't cheap by no means but if there are complications it will more than pay for itself. She didn't have much of a waiting period either.
