Hello Deborah! I am happy to get to meet you here on the board. My experience here so far has been nothing less than positive and educational. The ladies here are warm and friendly even if we have what we think are dumb questions. If we ask it gets answered. Many time I never have to ask a question because someone else does it first and all I have to do is read it and the answers. Some of the Gals here are some of the smartest people I know and they do a lot of research and share what they have learned. It might make a difference in how healthy we all can stay by learning from them how to get and stay that way.

Hey Deborah, it's nice to meet you!  Good luck as you make your way through this wonderful journey.  You're in for a ride of a lifetime!  Just know that there are many here who have made it and are here for you when you need advise, or just want to vent!  Alice

Deborah,  Hope you are having a great experience with your first meeting at the hospital!  Where are you going and what surgery are you contemplating?  I read through your profile and saw your Stingray City photo!  That is where we are hoping to take our next cruise to.  Our last one we went to the Bahamas -- Nassau (Atlantis) and CocoCay (RC's private isle).  It was honestly the best vacation ever.  We're also future RV'ers, once the kids are grown.  Thought I'd tell you we have a lot in common that way!  Good luck to you...look forward to sharing in your journey!

Thanks Shauna for your encouragement.  We went in April on a cruise and fell in love with cruising.  Look forward to going again.

I'm planning on having RNY hopefully soon.  Just got to get all of this other stuff out of the way.  Keep in touch.
