Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

Good for you Shelli! I work out at the gym 3 times per week and mostly do water aerobics. Our teacher kicks our butts. I love it. Yesterday, I had an excellent class and know even though I don't sweat like on the floor, I was hot in the pool. I know I was working hard. people can pacethemselves to go really high intesity or lower depending on your skill level. Do try a class or try several by different teachers to see what style you enjoy!

Great Shelli !!

I have looked for an aerobics class but haven't been able to find anything in our area, so that is out for now.  I am a member of Curves, but haven't been in quite awhile... Need to find a way to go and that will mean working out something at work... The hours for Curves is not great for working people.

I can tell you are feeling better.  Keep up the good work.

Hey Shelli,

Look at you !  Way to go!!  I need to get my butt up and at 'em more than I have been.  I have to admit, and I hate to, but it's true - I've been more than a little bummed about the continuing insurance saga, and I've been eating everything in sight and not exercising.  Not good.  So I know what I gotta do.  But this isn't about me - GOOD FOR YOU!!!!  I'll try to take a page out of your book!
