I agree that you should renew your vows with Ben. I've debated doing it with James for our 10th anniversary! I guess time will tell.

Thanks for the compliments, but I have to tell you that there is no way I'll outshine the beautiful young woman that will become my son's bride. She is not only incredibly nice and thoughtful, but she's stunningly beautiful without really realizing it.

I am looking forward to the wedding and plan to dance the night away if I still can stand up after doing all of those flowers LOL.

Look at my response to Lisa about renewing our vows. I think it's a lovely idea ... Let me know what you two decide.

You do look absolutely beautiful..."glowing" I would say!  And yes, YeS, YES on the renewed vows idea!  Hubby and I have talked about doing it ourselves but I hadn't thought of how perfect it would be to wait for when we've both reached our upcoming weight-loss/health goals.  Wow.  Such a great idea!  What do you think, Barb?!

Your new avatar is so pretty...  And you have described your new *daughter* in such a loving way - I hope she knows what a wonderful Mom she is getting. 
You are working so hard on this wedding - I do hope that there will be a few minutes that you can relax and enjoy. 
Also glad to hear about Ben and his acceptance letter.  Sounds like you and Ben have a beautiful future just over the horizon and so much to enjoy with each other.  I can't help but to feel a little bit of jealousy...

When will the roses arrive?  I know everything will be spectacular....

Thanks so much for your lovely compliments ... I think that we are lucky to be 'getting' one another. She is truly a blessing and I'm so glad to have her as a part of our family.

You are right about working so hard The roses arrived yesterday and I started conditioning them then... We just had the rehearsal dinner tonight and I prepped about 1000 roses today, stripping the leaves and guard petals, so I'm dead tired, but a good night's sleep should help and tomorrow it's time to start actually designing all of the arrangements.

Thank you for your good wishes regarding Ben's approval. I know that he's very excited and of course, I and the rest of the family are excited for him.
