Phew, you just brought back *memories*, Barb!  I have told you that I'm the daughter of a former wedding planner / florist, right?!  Try hard to take time to enjoy while pulling everything together.  Hope you have a lovely time this weekend.  And I, too, look forward to seeing the photos!

We must have been sisters in a former life ;-)  Say a prayer and hope I'll have the energy to do all that needs to be done and still enjoy dancing at my son's wedding.

Hugs,

Barb

Barb,  I'm thinking the same thing.  I never replied to your last comment about your clothes, but I about literally fell over when I read your descpription...wasn't it something like "conservative, Bohemian?"  I have always called myself a "preppy hippie!"  Life can be funny sometimes...I'm so thankful we've crossed paths and certainly look forward to meeting you in person some day!

Same here! I have things that very concervative and right in line with the Women's Club or a Church Social and I have other things that are so far off the beaten path that you can't even tell which decade they were made in. I also have some 'mom' stuff as my dear daughter likes to put it ... i.e., Ann Taylor, Talbots, etc... Even my house is decorated in a somewhat eclectic manner showing off the different facets of my personality and whatever sense of style I might have.

As you say, I look forward to meeting you and to continue getting to know you.

I think that the support I get here is phenominal, but I have to say the friendships I've made have really pleased and surprised me. I think that the two things are inextricably linked ... I truly do think that the friendships turbo charge the support. I also think that the NC board has got to be one of the NICEST groups I've had the pleasure of spending time with.

Hugs,

Barb

I know how hectic it is --The Charleston Wedding was weekend before last and we had Hurricane Fay to contend with.  The storm finally moved off and the wedding was lovely.  A rainbow came out just before the wedding march began and there were 1000's of Monarch Butterflies and Dragon flies in the garden.   We were able to hold the wedding in the Octagonal Garden at Middleton Plantation and everything went without hitch.  Stop to take a deep breath ever so often and wear comfortable shoes.   Can't wait to see the pictures.  The only picture I have posted of my neice's wedding is my new avatar.  Hope to get some more on line soon.

Hi Paula,

I'm sorry you had all of that excitement, but I'm so glad that it all turned out so nicely. I look forward to seeing your lovely photos.
