A TOTALLY unexpected WOW today!

I went to Belk today searching for a dress for my niece's wedding.  Well, I didn’t find a dress that I liked but I found 4 suits and get this…. they are size 10 petite! I started out trying on size 12 and the skirts were a little loose and the jackets were kinda big and I hated to buy something that in a month may be too big…so I went back to the rack and thought, well, I’ll try a size 10 but I KNEW they would not fit. I tried them on and they fit perfect!  I grinned at my self, put my hands together and thanked our good Lord for the new life I have been given.  I just moved into size 12 pants and thought that that was great, but now to be able to wear a straight skirt in a 10 is just unbelievable!  Oh, and another WOW…I got all four suits for less than $200.

It's wild, less than a year ago, I was in a 22/24!

Alice - you are inspiring me - we are about the same height and I DREAM of buying an 8 petite at my goal weight (or maybe even a 6).  Thanks for sharing the WOW.

Hey Diane!  I never thought of myself as petite, probably because I could never wear clothes in that section but I find now that they fit so much better than the misses...  this surgery has been a miracle for me and I'm sure you'll feel the same way!  And yes, online dancing burns calories ;-)

That is FANTASTIC!   I haven't seen a size 10 in over 25 years.   It is amazing how fast things change for the better. That had to make you feel great and such a great deal to boot!
