Hello, thanks for all the advice I can never get enough. How is your weight loss?

It was pretty good for the first couple of months then it leveled off, so I had a fill last week.  I had a little restriction, but I think I'm going to need another in a few weeks to keep the weight coming off.

I'm still pre-op, but I'm always glad to see patients of Dr. "Fuzz" on here!!   I'm sure you'll be able to find someone with the band to talk to; everyone is so nice and helpful on this board.

Good luck with your surgery, and please let us know how everything goes.  I'm sure you'll have  no problems at all - you'll be in VERY good hands!!

Hi Missy,

I had the realize lap band surgery on August 12th.  It was a piece of cake.  I was only in surgery for 50 minutes and the dr said it went text book perfect.  I was a little sore for a couple of days but it was not bad at all.  Holding a pillow over my belly when I laughed or coughed or tried to get in and out of bed or a chair was a big help.  Do take your pain meds as directed and your pain level will not get too high!!  If you want to talk send me a pm and I'll send my cell number.

Hello, I am so glad you responded. How was your surgery? Have you lost any weight? How long was your recovery time? Is there some foods you cannot eat?  Any advice you have for would be great. Thanks!
