Hey guys, did anyone stop taking their birth control before surgery? The reason as to why I'm questioning is because of blood clots, that are made when on bc.

I stopped taking them a month before the surgery per MD request.

I also stopped taking them prior to TT; the PS said it was my choice. I thought it was the safer option.

My doc allowed me to take mine upto the the day before surgery and resume the day after ( I had to crush them for a little while after surgery).
