So cottonpickin' frustrated!!!
I am so frustrated right now it is beyond belief. I was 6 months out Monday and still at the same weight I have been at for the last 2 or 3 weeks. I know 100 lbs in 6 mos. is nothing to sneeze at or be upset about but we all know what these stalls do to your self esteem. Well this morning at 6 am I weighed before getting in the shower and the scale was down 4 1/2 lbs. I was very excited. Well I weighed again at like 11 just so I could see the # again and it was back up to 297 from 290 at 6 am!! I dont understand.... how can I gain 7 lbs in 5 hours. The scales havent been moved on the floor in 3 weeks so I know they are set and they are in a place where I can get on them and not touch anything. I just cant figure it out and I so want to make my goal of 185 lbs by my birthday which is 24 days shy of my year surgaversary.Anyone else experience this? How do you deal with the emotional swing of this. I have been going thru a depression for the last couple of weeks and thought this weight loss would be the kick in the pants I needed. Now I feel just as low all over again!

(((MELISSA)))! The same dang thing happened to me this morning, and I have a doctor's balance beam scale! I'm talking how the heck did I gain 4 pounds in the time it took for me to call my husband in to see how much I'd lost??? Kinda like the car that starts once you call the mechanic!
I have no explanation , but know that you're not alone. Hang in there!

Around my 6 month mark - I too stopped loosing the weight that I was seeing in the months before. I just kind of stopped. I think it is our bodies adjusting and getting ready for the next loss. Then in about a month or so - I started loosing again. It was strange too - I didn't do anything different, but I have heard a lot of people say that if they start eating more protein or drinking water it will jump start again. Just be happy you are below the 300 mark. I know that is a big hurdle to achieve and so enough you will be below the 200 mark.
It will happen again. Just give it time.

Hang in there Melissa, don't give up. I too had a long stall between the 4-5 month mark and then again around 6 months. It's very normal and it will end. Just keep following the program, exercising and the scales will start to move again.
