day off

I was not planning to take the day off but due to the situation with my mother I am in hot pursuet of getting a lift and or hospital bed.
I slept till 8:30 something I have not done in months.
I do feel very rested and ready to tackle the day.
Once again I proved to myself I can walk all over the place as I did yesterday and even walked up a long ramp to a store and noticed I was not breathing hard.

Oh I would have loved to have slept in this morning. I did reset my alarm and get an extra 20 minutes in. But it was dreary outside and even the dogs didn't want to get up and get going. Last night I had planned on going to bed early but Oscar had other plans for me. Thank goodness I get a long weekend this weekend.

We deserve a day off every once in awhile.

Baby is sick, so no daycare at the Y (I will not put other children at risk for getting sick, and I don't want my baby's weakened immune system to pick up something else).. maybe tonight depending on if hubby gets home at a decent time.
