What's everybody doing for Labor Day?

Just curious what everybody is doing for our upcoming holiday? I'm going to my in-laws at some point but they haven't ironed out all the details. All I know is I have to bring whatever I want to eat special.

Maybe I'll show up with my magic bullet in hand and puree a hamburger - YUCK. Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying the pureed stage but some things just don't sound appetizing.

I really want to go camping this weekend. I haven't been since the spring and I'm really having to fight back my inner adventurer. But alas it is not a payday week so there's not lots of extra money on hand.

I will have a boring relaxing weekend working in the backyard and walking and swimming if weather permits and the water isn't ice cold.   Hubby has to work on Monday so I will have the entire house to myself.   Maybe i will get ambitious and do a major house cleaning (i can dream).  

A friend gave me a statute of a lady laying on her belly in her garden and it says housework makes you ugly and gardening makes you beautiful....lmao....i should be gorgeous but somehow it didn't happen...lmao!

I am having a big yard sale. Sound like fun? ugg I dread but who knew you  could have so much crap until you move. Anyone in the Hampstead area and need anything I think I got a little bit of everything!!I dont even know where most of it come from.

My Hubby and I are off to Cherokee then to Greeneville TN . Just spending time with the grandkids and maybe a little gaming for the old folks.

Absolutely nothing except do my monthly shopping gorge at Target.

Our Labor Day weekend is actually going to last 4-5 days.  Hubby has Monday off, of course, but he is also taking Tuesday off, and possibly Wednesday as well. 

Saturday through Monday we will be working outside on the cottage/shed and we'll also be putting together a garage sale to have sometime in September. 

Tuesday is my psych consult and info class!!!!!! 

Since hubby works commission at an auto body shop, he's going to wait and see if it's worth taking a vacation day Wednesday, or heading on in to work. 

I can't wait to spend the time with him, especially Tuesday.  I've been waiting and waiting for these appointments!  FUN!!!!!!

My DH and DD have the entire weekend off so there my be a movie involved but not really anything else. Hanging out with the dogs and get in some reading. Even our favorite TV shows aren't showing new episodes this weekend.

Also celebrating birthdays - daughters will be 29 on the 3rd, Mom and son-in-law both have birthdays on the 6th - it will be a 4-in-one party. 

I'm going to Duck at the outer banks for a restful week.

When you ride through the lower end of Currituck County think about me. Holiday weekends we tend to stay home because the traffic is just not worth it.  Have fun in Duck - you're right across the Sound from me. If you look over and see the really tall radio tower for Beach 104, my house is right under the tower (actually the tower was built so that their fall zone is our field).
