WAYS TO STOP SNACKING....

I AM TRYING TO FIND DIFFERENT WAYS FOR ME TO STOP SNACKING ALL DAY LONG....IT JUST SEEMS FOR SOME REASON I AM ALWAYS EATTING SOMETHING....NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE .............

Schedule your snacks. Back when I did WW I'd go ahead and fill out my tracker for all the food that I'd be eating that day. I included my snacks and when I'd eaten everything on my list then that was it - kitchen closed.

Drink - Drink - Drink - Drink

Are you eating because of stress or boredom? Have you made the snacks too accessible? Some foods I just won't buy and keep in the house simply because if they're there I'm going to eat them.

Don;t know if these were any hel*****t but worth a small consideration. Go back to the basics or what you know has worked for you in hte past.

Thanks for the reply , Yes I do think the snacking is simply from boardom and plus I keep telling myself to drink the water , drink the water buts not happening.....I just feel like such a failure......

You could always make cyrstal light slushies - eat them with a spoon and it's nothing bu****er. We make them with the snow cone machine and the magic bullet.

Try keeping a piece of gum in your mouth.  I do this when I'm cooking so I don't keep popping things in my mouth as I cook!

I cannot stand drinking water BUT... DO IT!! when you feel like you want to eat go get a nice cold glass of water and drink it, go check your email or let the dogs out or fold some laundry.. in a few minutes you will be wondering why you wanted to eat something. If you can get 8 cups of water a day in you then you will not be as hungry.. Im not perfect, I dont get all my water in but the days that I do drink it Im not as hungry as the days that I dont. I try to only keep healthy stuff in the house and thats easy since its just me right now, my husband is deployed. But even when he is home he is diabetic so the real good junk that I love the most does not get bought. If you have to snack try a high protein snack. I find when I eat junk carbs (which I LOVE) then Im even more hungry then when I started. Chewing gum is also a good thing, it will keep your mouth busy and is no calories for sugar free. I WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YALL FOR THE ADVICE...I CANT BLAME ANYONE BUT MYSELF BECAUSE I DONT EXCERSIE AND I DONT DRINK THE WATER LIKE I SHOULD .....GUESS I BETTER START DOING RIGHT
