Just Got To Say It...
I am about to bust with excitement. Just had my surgery 8/18 at 8:30 am and came home yesterday evening at 8:30 pm. It must of been the excitement that kept me so keyed up. My surgery was perfect, my surgeon a dream and the hospital staff awesome. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. I've been working on getting my clear liquids in all day today. Wow, that is hard. Just don't want to get dehydrated. Not hard as in difficult, but just hard as in trying to get 3 to 4 oz. of liquid in an hour. I'm loving it and can't wait til my drain is removed on Friday. Then I will feel finally free and ready to run with this wonderful tool I've now been blessed with. Just had to tell somebody. I've enjoyed reading all of your posts and can't wait to be a part of them. Hope everyone has a blessed evening!
July 1 weighed 329 - Pre Op weight loss got me to 298! Anyone who is planning to do this I totally recommend starting early with some of your liquid fasting. It made a world of difference in my surgery!
Definitely do everything you can to keep sipping. Dehydration is a cruel thing. Experiment with fluids at different temps. Sometimes hot vs cold can be the difference in how much you get in an hour. Your energy level will flucuate accordingly with your hydration level.
