Stiches, Dr. Troy and Oxycodone
Hello everyone,
Im alive and high on Oxycodone so if I sound like a nut job thats why!! I went down to Wilmington yesterday and got put in a room and a DA took some more xrays, she left to go *get him* well *him* walked in and I about died LOL Im a hardcore Nip/Tuck Fan and if any of you have seen Dr. Troy (Julian McMahon) you will know what I am talking about, this dentist was his twin
He looks at the xrays and tells me yep I have a really bad infection and he really does not want to go in and try to fix the failed root canal, he would rather do surgery. I said thats fine, he told me I would have to come back as he was not set up for the surgery but then he saw I drove all the way from Richlands and that my dentist *****ferred me was a close friend of his, he told his receptionist to clear his day that he had emergency surgery. I have to say NOTHING hurt except for the shots... I hate shots and shots in the high gum/bone area were very uncomfortable and I had to have 8 of them!!!!! I was very happy to have all of them because I did NOT feel any of the scalpal cutting or the drilling or the suctioning out of the infection. I have two rows of stiches in my gums and today I am puffy and sore and the stiches feel funny. He was very very gentle and easy and not like the last root canal I had by a different endodontist that had me crying and in so much pain I could hardly breathe. The drive home was not bad, I stopped to get my oxycodone in Wilmington filled up and then he drugged my mouth up so good it took hours and hours to wear off. I just have to keep taking the pills or else it hurts really bad. I had some cream of wheat for dinner last night it went down good and filled me up. Anyways Im going back to lay down with my ice pack.. thanks for all the well wishes,, have a great day everyone!!
