Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

I'm glad to hear you're doing better! I had RNY almost 6 years ago but I can imagine how it would be to have too much saline. Sometimes I wish I could get a band on top of my RNY... lol! Anyway, glad you're feeling better!

Thank goodness... you know I look towards your journey as a gage for mine. From weight loss to work. So glad things are going better now.
At 3 1/2 weeks out - what are you eating? I tried some of cream of mushroom soup - thinned with skim milk - and thought I had gone to heaven...
I go to the doctor in the monring for my post-op appt and get clearance to drive. Yippee!

I am happy to hear they aleviated the too tight band. I hope they have found your 'Sweet Spot' so you can can lose your weight and still eat the right things.
