1 year check up

From my records and doctor Farrels we agreed I have lost 100lbs since surgery.
My doctor was so happy with me and even put his hand on my face and said you just look beutiful.OMG uncharted territory for me again.
Now for the BIG NEWS OMG I cant stand it!!!
My doctor has set me up to have a consult with the plastic surgeon the one who took my hanging stomach off after losing the first 300lbs.
I told my doc I was hoping for more weight loss like others have but he pointed out to me I had lost so much before surgery so I would not see the huge numbers like most do.
Basically he is saying there is lots of extra skin and to have some or most removed will allow me to move even better so that .......
I can get to 145.
People that know me know I am thrilled at the idea that there is a real chance now that I could get to 145.

Annie such wonderful news. I know you are excited. I am excited for you. Keep us posted on your progress. Guess what Annie... I bought a size 18 pants today. Althiugh they fit tight and are elastic waste. The Band type pants I have moved ibto a 20.  This du flap and hernia are in my way.  It is because of you that I even gave it a shot to put my butt in a smaller size. Thank you Annie you keep blazing a trail for me. Good luck with the PS I am so happy for you.

Hi Barb,
I told Lee when I got home I had always heard wls had to wait till they were 18 months out or a BMI of 30 or lower.
From my understanding the doctor feels it is a must to have the extra skin removed now.
What I will be doing to prepare for this is... you guessed it exercising because I know not only will it make my recovery time easier but I am thinking I can start to have a good muscle tone under the skin.

That is more than awesome Annie....FANTASTIC!!!   Can the doc work it so it is medically necessary so insurance will pay for it??  I am hoping!

You most definitely can get to 145.  That's where I'm at, and I'll tell you...it's wonderful here!  :)

I have been thinking about you and your tooth problem.
Sometimes dentist can do what they call a pulpectomy sorta like a mini root canel to kill the nerve endings until  root canel can be done.
My heart goes out to you there is nothing worse than tooth pain.

Thanks Annie, the problem is this tooth ALREADY had a root canal done five years ago.... now out of the blue the nerve endings have decided to become inflammed and absessed thanks for your support!
