OT Tommorro's mouth attack

Ok big time rant and jumping up and down (not to much jumping because every step I take I can feel all the nerves that are left in my tooth!) Its pretty bad when you walk on soft carpet with no shoes and it feels like someone is taking a jack hammer and ramming it up between your gums. The antibiotics gave me bad diarreah.. seems to be sorta under control now. Soooo my dentist calls me...Onlsow County *fun* fact~ Do you know that Onslow County only has ONE Endodontist? and guess what??? *insert crazy laugh here* hes on F***** vacation for another week!!!! that means I have the great honor of driving all the way down out of my way to Wilmington tommorro and then driving myself back home in pain (hour and 15 min each way) after my reverse root canal!! YAAAHHHH WOOHOOO.

Hubby is flipping out and wants to fly home tonight from his deployment so he can drive me home so I can start the pain pills ASAP.... I told him to calm down... Ill make it..... the other great thing (sarcasm here) is the Endodontist is not in my network provider for my dental insurance... that usually means they jack up the price as high as possible knowing my insurance only pays so much....my insurance will only pay certain allowable amounts for procedures, yes its better then no insurance at all but Im really having a horrible day here... I tried to call Camp Lejeune to see if I could be seen at the dental clinic on base and they are full for a month and they gave me the number of the guy out in town thats on vacation I just LOVE This!!! Thanks for letting this crazy woman do a crazy rant... Im praying that I survive tommorro....please send me good vibes, I need them really bad right now!!

Please find someone to go with you tomorrow so that you can take the pain pills.  It is so sweet that your hubby wants to come in and help out. 

I truly hate going to the dentist.  I think they do *something* to my good teeth so that I have to go back sooner and have some expensive work done...  I think I would have them pulled LOL

Oh poor Darcie!!  I am SO sorry you are going through this!  I would happily drive you to and from W'ton if I weren't also in training and on probation with a new job!  Please take good care of yourself tomorrow and let us hear you're feeling better soon!

I would hate that you would have to go by yourself.  What time is your appt?  I can take you if you want and dont mind if my 19 month old daughter goes?  Let me know.

Darcie - My heart goes out to you! I like what others have said about getting an extra numbing shot at the end of the procedure....should hold you till you can get home and collapse in bed with some pain med's.

Thanks Sheila, everyone I know (and thats hardly anyone anymore as most have moved out of the area, this is a military town) is working tommorro...Ill just drive fast so I can get home in a hurry and pray I make it without getting sick.. I always feel like death after these big procedures, thanks for your concern, I really appreciate it.

Oh, my pooooooor Baby Veins!
Normally I would say "Call me, you nut! I'll take you!"
But being exactly 2 hours into training for my new job...where you are dismissed, BTW, if you miss ANY time in first week of training...I must decline to ffer.
But I do wish you well and look forward to your post on how great you are feeling in spite of it all. (Yeah right! LOL)
