I have seen the turn now

Wooo hooo!  I am officially down 1 pound from last Thursday surgery date.  I was a little concerned because I knew I had fluid from the IV's and swelling and I felt that by day 3 I should see a turn around.  Well, I weighed this morning and I can claim 1 pound less....  Wooo hooo!!!

Wooo hooo Shelia!!!  Each victory, no matter how small, tastes oh so sweet, doesn't it?!  They'll just get sweeter and sweeter, I'll bet.

I would count ounces even if it would encourage me. Every pound does count. Whoo Hoo!

Thanks to all who have offered encouragement - Shelli- Shauna - Darcie - I know I have forgotten someone!  Sorry...Edited - I jsut looked and I left out my buddy, Melissa and Ann !

I forgot to sip some water and oops - not a good feeling.  I guess some things are trial and error.  And I have tried to listen to everyone's tips, but .... I usually have to learn the hard way.

Yeah, Shelia,  I know how you feel.  It does seem good to see things going the other way for a change doesn't it. 

I really don't know exactly what I have lost because I just bought a new scale (old ones were broke) and don't know how much different they weigh than the doc's scale.  Will know more next Monday when I go to doc for checkup!
