Frozen Orange Delight

2 cups sugar free cool whip
1 1/2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 cup boiling water
1 small package of SF orange jello

1.  combine jello, water, and pineapple juice.  Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2.  Fold in cool whip until well blended.
3.  Freeze 2-4 hours.

I added unflavored protein when I folded in the cool whip.  OMG this is to die for.

As a matter of fact, I'm eating it now and it is just so good.  My whole family is eating it!!!

Thanks. Sounds like a trip to the grocery store tomorrow. Love new things to try.

I found online and Orange Julius recipe that might be good too. They say it is a identical to the orginal with out the sugar free and reduced fat milk of course.

Orange Julius
  • 5 oranges, peeled and separated
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed ice
  • 1 1/2 cups waterr
  • 1/2 cup skim or 1% milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered coffee creamer
  • 1/4 cup sugar subsitute
  1. Add ice and water to blender and turn on high for a few seconds.
  2. Add orange sections about 5 at a time, blending a little as you go. (we postopers might need to strain the pulp) I might just try regular OJ.
  3. Add the other ingredients in whatever order and blend until smooth.
  4. Taste.
  5. Add more creamer or sugar if necessary.
  6. Medium size seedless, sweet oranges
