OUCH MY TOOTH!!!

Ok totally off topic... I am the dentists best patient, meaning they make good money off of me LOL thank god for dental insurance! last night while drooling I mean watching the Mens two man beach volleyball game for the Olympics my left side of my mouth started hurting. Thank god I have a cool dentist out in town that lets you have his phone number. I called him and he told me he would come down in the morning and open his office just for me. I got to his office and he couldnt figure out what was going on because the tooth that hurt had a root canal done about 6 years ago. I am the root canal and crown gold medal champion. He took an xray and sure enough I have a absese that has formed where they did the root canal so many years ago at the very tip top of the root.... He gave me a script for antibiotics and I have a big bottle of Vicodin, Percocet and valium... I hate taking pain pills.. Im in sooo much pain I could scream. I have to have major *reverse root canal* procedures done next week and he already told me it will be painful. I cant eat anything, it hurts to have anything hit my mouth please send me your Tooth Fairy wishes... Im really down and out and in pain and knew this group could cheer me up...

Toothaches suck!!!  I would rather give birth 10 times a day than suffer a toothache!  And that's coming from someone who suffered through 30 hours of labor to bring her only child into this world!!  I hope you are able to find some relief soon.  I will send all Tooth Fairy wishes your way that your procedure won't be as painful as the dentist says it will.  Take care of yourself and stay strong.  You will make it thru this!

I am so sorry. I don't think childbirth is as bad as a toothache. Take care as best you can. Sounds like you've got a great dentist at your service.

Poor little Baby Veins!  I am so sorry!  Hell I am scared for you!  I HATE going to the dentist!  And when the bloody DENTIST says it will hurt, that is NOT something to look forward to!!!  I would MUCH rather be right there in the delivery room (and I had NO drugs during labor OR delivery!) than in a dentist's chair for something he says will be painful!!!  I am feelin' ya!

Oh Darcie, I hate that you are in so much pain.  I could probably give you a run for being the root canal and crown queen.  Take care and I like you hate taking pain medicine but this may be one time you will want to.

OUCH!  I'm sooo sorry to hear you're having tooth problems.  I think tooth pain is probably one of the worse kinds of pain.  Hope they give you good drugs so you won't feel any pain during the root canal next week! 

I thought of you yesterday when I went in for my stent.  It took 3 trys to get my IV started.  I am usually pretty easy to get an IV but not yesterday.....

Ouch Darcie!!  God has blessed me in the tooth area so far, but I do remember one or two toothaches!  I am sending up prayers for you for the pain and the procedure!  I hope that it actually clears up really soon!

I am sorry I have no magic to take away your pain. Maybe you can get some laughing gas or something so you won't notice the pain. I can sympathise but noe empathise because I have never had to endure a root canal. Here's hoping I never have to. I have had kidney stones and that really sucked.
