Hey ya'll!

Sorry it's been like years since I've posted, but life keeps throwing me curve balls. I lurk, a lot, but just haven't made it to posting.

Tuesday was my 6 month surgiversary. I have lost 75 pounds since surgery, 100 since Jan. 2nd when I started my preop diet. I have lost a total of 47.75 inches. I am feeling good....just lack the energy that everyone else talks about having. Turns out my thyroid wants to be all wonky and cause me problems so I get to start taking medicine for that. I sleep so much better and feel so much better about myself. I started at a size 28 pants and am now in 18 or 20 depending on who makes it and started at 26/28 shirts and am wearing XL or 14/16. So very thrilling!!!!! I posted side by sides in my profile. Check me out if you wish. :)

Wow Becky...you look great! I am right there with you and the thyroid but after 2 weeks on the pill, i felt awesome and the wt starting to drop some more.

Hey Pam! Thanks! I actually like having my picture made now...was thinking of getting some done professionally....

I hope that it won't take long for the thyroid medicine to start helping me have energy. School starts Wednesday and I'll need all the energy I can get to plow through working and 4 classes.
