I can see you all are keeping the boards just a going.
My main concern the past couple of days has been Christin.
Thanks to Carol she has been keeping me well informed.
When I got the message Christin was having to get blood and may have a leak I just about freaked!!!
I still feel all will be well but have felt a little remorse mainly because I encourged her to have wls.
I know it was her choice to make.
I hate knowing my girl is going through all this.
I wish I could give her a hug and make it all better.
Thxs to Ann for posting Carols message from the main board to here.
I also have been doing jobs the past two days so I have been out of the loop a little.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at GC.

Annie,  I picked up the phone to call you yesterday at around 2pm, then remembered you were probably at work.  Don't you dare go beating yourself up over anyone having surgical difficulties post-op.  You have been such an encouragement to me and I am going to go into surgery with eyes wide-open, my dear, and I know Christin would be telling you the same thing.  We're all sending her lots of thoughts, positive energy, and prayers.  I'm sure everything will be okay.  Have a great time at your meet-up and hopefully someday I'll be able to be there with ya!  {{{Hugs}}}

Thx Shauna,
I know I cant blame myself for her complications I just feel so bad for her and her family right now.
Talk about stress OMG.
Carol seems very positive and upbeat and that helps to hear that when I talk to her.
She hopes to call me tonight and let me know how she is doing after the transfusions.
I managed to get through the demo yesterday and today without any problems.
I did eat two Sara Lee cheese cake bites which came to 40 calories.
Today I was giving out OJ and I had two sample cups.
As far as making the ice cream sundays avoided them all together.
Ice cream and Bubbles dont do well >>>>> she is lactose intolerant since surgery.
I did not bring home any of the leftover stuff except the whipped cream and the OJ.

Don't beat yourself up Annie.  We are adults and we all make our own decisions.   My prayers are with Christin.   She is in the hospital so they can monitor her and take care of whatever they need too.

Annie,

You can't blame yourself for Christin's complications anymore than I could blame myself when you had yours. I know that you feel badly for her, but you know darn well that she made this decision for herself, by herself. As you appreciated my support when you had your surgery, she appreciates yours now and she wouldn't want you to be beating yourself up.

Give Ben a hug from me when you see him tomorrow.

I'm sorry I won't be seeing you all, but I'm hoping that you will all have a nice time.

Barb
