This is Christin's Mom ....again!!! Sorry about that!
Now that I have the right board.............thank you!!!!
Christin is now receiving 4 units of blood which I was told should take about 3 hours. Her doctor did call and said that he is confident that with the blood and the clotting medicine that he will not have to cauterize nor do surgery to correct the problem. He is now concerned about a blood clot forming in her intestine, which on some occasions does require surgery. The doctor does not want her up walking until her blood has reached the desired outcome. He said that if her indicators look good tonight their is a good chance that all Christin will need to do is to keep improving, but she will more than likely have to stay an extra day or two---possibly until Monday. Needless to say we are hoping for an excellent outcome!!!
I would like to reiterate my thanks to all of you that have supported Christin with her journey to a healthier outlook and thank you so very much for your prayers---one can never have enough angels to deliver these prayers!!!!!
I hope to here tonight about her prognosis. Thank you again.

Hi Carol,
Please let Christin know that like so many others, I have her close in thought and prayer. She has a really good medical team and I'm confident that she'll have a good outcome. I know it's really scary when something like this happens ... I had a 'bump in the road' when I had my surgery too and as you know all is well. I hope, pray and expect the same for Christin.
Please give her my warmest regards,
Barb

Hi Everyone,
I just spoke with Christin. She had a pretty good night but still groggy from her meds. She has not been able to get up and walk yet as they want to be sure that she is ready. The doctor still believes that her bleeding problem has been taken care of because her blood pressure has has maintained to her normal levels. Christin has not been able to have any liguids yet and hopes she will be able to have them soon. She is so thirsty!!!! So all and all things are looking up. When I spoke with Christin this morning I read all of your prayers and wishes for her and she said to say thank you. As far as we know she will still have to stay in hospital for 5-7 days according to the doctor, but maybe that will change.
Thank you again for supporting Christin and wishing her the best.
