It is done and I am home

Hey ya'll - I am home, tired and can hardly hold my eyes open, but just wanted to reach out to each and everyone of you.
Talked to Vera this afternoon - she is doing so well after her surgery on Tuesday.
Shelli - I am hoping things resolve soon for you.  I was told that I have some restriction, but to be honest, right now I can't tell anything. I am sipping crystal light, chicken broth without a problem.
Shauna - I can't begin to tell you how nice the people were at Frye.  And the Hickory Surgical Group came thru with flying colors.  I have been very pleased with the staff.
Melissa - I know your surgery is complete and you are feeling your way around.  I am sore - actually quite a bit - today.  But just knowing it is over, is such a relief.

Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes - Barb, Annie, Nancy.  I am sure that I have left out someone.  I am a little fuzzy tonight!  LOL

{{{Shelia!!!}}}  I am so glad you are home.  It was a joy to speak with you on the phone.  What a pleasant surprise that was!  I can hardly wait to meet the staff of Hickory Surgical at the support group Thursday.  Icing on the cake would be if you were there too.  Please come if you are up to it, but don't push yourself if you're not.  Take care and enjoy the ride ahead!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
