Thanks for the update!  I'm glad she's doing well and I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers.  Tell her to click click click that morphine!!!  It's good stuff... lol!  I hate that she's having gas pains, I remember that pain - ugh!  Anyway, give her a hug for us and have a great night!

Be sure to get hold of one of the nurses and let them know what a hard time mom is having with the nausea. They can give her something for it. As soon as she's able, it's really important to get up and get walking. It will make a world of difference and really help to get rid of the gas. It's also very important to help prevent pulmonary embolisms.

I hope that she feels better soon.

Hey!

Mama had a rough night. Shes had alot of back pain frrom the bed. They wont let her wal****il she has her Chest Xray. Itll be about 2 hours before she can walk. Shes been getting up in the room now walking up. She cant sit in the bed so shes in the chair. Shes had ALOT of back pain. Shes still nauscious. Maybe its because she has nothing in her tummy? She hasnt used the morphine since midnight because it makes her really sick.

Thank you for stopping by to see my mom. She appreciates the card and the bag full of goodies. Sorry she didnt really feel up for company. Shes in alot of pain. Thank you for coming.

No apologies necessary.  I just want her to feel better!!!!   Hopefully once she gets over this hump things will smooth out for her.  Your mom is such a great person I know that once she gets back on her feet (so to speak )  she will do great with her band.
