OT: Prayers desperately needed

Hey guys.  My uncle had what they are tentatively calling a stroke this morning and he has been admitted to the hospital for further tests.  He cannot voluntarily move his left arm and hand at all and has extreme weakness in his left leg.  His speech is good and not slurred and there's no loss of muscle control in his face.  I am worried because living in such a rural area, the hospital here isn't the greatest and I'm scared they won't send him to a better facility farther away before permanent damage is done.  I have spent all afternoon at the hospital with him and his wife and just got home a few minutes ago.  Please keep him in your prayers.  Thanks!

I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle.  My dad had a slight stroke AND heart attack back around Christmas.  He came through it and is better now.  So, your uncle may improve.  Give it time.  I'll be thinking about y'all.

I'm so sorry to hear of your uncle's stroke. I don't know if it's much comfort, but my mother had a similar stroke and has recovered to the extent you would not know she had ever had a stroke. I'll be keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.
