Just like Iris, I have to be at PCMH at 5:15 AM... thats like 14 hrs 50 minutes away.

i cant believe this is it . im sooooo excited. not really nervous. just ready to get it all over with and come home. im more nervous about the post op diet than anything.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this message due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

Woo woo Melissa! Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life! I know you'll do well, after all, you have the most wonderful doctor in the world! (I may be a bit prejeduce,but hey, I owe him my life!)... Anyway, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for sure! In 12 hours you'll be in surgery. I know your nerves are shot but the day you have waited for and prepared for for so long is finally here. I'm praying that all goes according to schedule. Try and get some rest tonight. I cannot wait to get my phone call in hte morning. I'm testing my wings out and fluttering all over the room as we speak.
