Pain and Itching

Good Morning Guys,

I am still in pain from my surgery on Tuesday.  I am so sad I lost my Fobi Pouch band.  I am off this morning to the Orthodonist with my son.  He is leaving for College (crying) on Saturday and I still can't beleive they won't take his braces off yet.  Now he is going to have to drive home 3 hours one way, once a month for adjustments.  Please pray that he will say they are comiing off soon.

I have not been able to eat and keep anything down yet.  I am getting liquids so I will take it easy.

Barbara - I'm praying that your just experiencing "normal" post op pain and your recovery will finally bring you relief! Stay on the liquids as necessary, no rush...
I hear ya about the ortho visits, to bad it is going to be such a long drive.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having to deal with the discomforts of surgical recovery ... one of these days, I hope they find a way to just wave a wand or give us a pill to make it all go away.

I can only imagine your disappointment about losing the band on your pouch. I'm sure that it's a scary proposition for you. I understand that this has happened to others though and they have been able to be very successful, not only with the initial weight loss, but with the long term maintenance of their weightloss.

I imagine the only silver lining to your son's continued brace adjustments are the monthly visits to Mom. I know that he'll be glad when he's able to get them off though.
