And...the fat lady sings

The waiting is over!  I just got a call from my surgeon's office and CIGNA has approved my surgery!  I'm so excited!  My surgery is scheduled for October 1.  I just had to tell you all because I know each of you can appreciate how this feels!

Congrats!!  You are in for the ride of a life time and on your way to a new life.   I am almost 6 months post and have never regretted it.   If you have any questions, ask away as we are all here to help each other!

Congrats! I have Dr. B also. You are in good hands. Just do not gain any weight before surgery or he will cancel...even the day of surgery. He knows his stuff.

Hey!  I have Dr Bauman as well and kim called me today with my approval.  I am having surgery oct 3rd.  Just two days after you!  Congrats....I cant wait until we get to join the losers bench.  Not to much longer!!!!

Thanks to you all for your support and good wishes.  I know Dr. B. has a great reputation.  I've been working since February for this to all come together.  I know it's the right thing for ME!  I may have more questions or things to share now that this is "real."  I've learned more here on these boards than from any of the books I've read.  Thanks for sharing!  Maybe I'll see you in the hospital Crickle!  I can't wait to start my new life!
