Pam,  That is supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!  Er, however you spell it!

I still get astounded when I see people losing 60 in 3 mos...100 at 6 mos...you'd think I'd get the drift by now.  WLS DOES WORK!!!    Congrats!!!

Thanks!  I now have to kick the exercise up even more so I can continue.  Yesterday i walked 2 20 min miles in my neighborhood which is very hilly and that in itself is a major accomplishment.  At my peak wt, knees hurt so bad, i couldn't do the hills and then even when i started i was at 30 min a mile.

Do you have an appt for your initial consult yet?

Take care, Pam

Pam, Yes, I do!  Here's what's on my calendar for the WLS stuff:

August 21 - First support group meeting (sponsored by the surgical group)
August 26 - Psych consult
August 27 - PCP appointment to recheck thyroid
September 2 - Psych follow-up AND information class at the surgical group

It's been a long wait but I've had a lot of time to research and work through some emotional stuff, so I'm thankful for the time I've had.    Thank you for asking!
