Update on Vera !!

I wanted to let everyone know the update on Vera.  I had a call from her DIL and she did wonderfully thru surgery this morning.  She stayed in Wilmington last night before surgery this morning and the plan was to maybe stay tonight also.  Her DIL said that she would be going home this afternoon, but I didn't ask if that meant the Wilmington homestead or back to Whiteville.

So, let's do a cheer for Vera - she is banded and making her way to the loser's bench.

It is kind of surprising.  I had pretty much stopped for a few months, but now it seems to have started up again.  That's fine with me for now, it's VERY slow.  But if I get down to 135 I'll be in your boat (trying to stop)
