Hey everyone!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I still keep up with everyone and all the goings on. Congrats to all the new "losers", and all the "vets" are doing fabulous!

Here is an update on me...I have finally dropped below 300. I weighed in this morning at 291. That puts me at 104 lbs. since surgery and 114 since my highest. WOOT!

I bought new pants in a size 18 from Avenue the other day. I think I tried them on 4 times since I just knew that couldn't be right. I shopped at the Goodwill all by myself yesterday...who knew I could wear clothes there??!! I NEVER looked at clothes there for myself before. Now I can't go into any store without looking at my size. I am certain that I shop WAY too much, but man is it FUN! I can now fit in a booth. I am able to walk and walk and not have to stop for another breath! I am not so worried that everyone is staring at me when I am in public. Now I just feel "normal."

Anyhoo, that is about it from me. I am back on the schedule of working on the Saturdays for the Raleigh meetup. Dangit! Hopefully someday I'll get there again.

And Barb, if you read this, Colby is STILL talking about being entertained by Ben at the meeting we were at.

Big hugs to all of you!!!!!

Kim

Hi Kim,
What great news.
I do hope you can make it to another meetup soon.
I just got into some 18's I bought at the PTA somewhere I would never have gone before.
When you can make it I hope you bring Colby he was a hit.

KIm,

Congratulations and I'm glad you came online to give us an update!  Below 300 feels wonderful doesn't it!!!!  I remember not being able to buy anything at Lane Bryant or those type of stores, but it IS fun shopping now I agree!!!!  Anyway, keep in touch!!!

Hey Kim,

It's great to hear from you and I'm delighted that you are doing so very well. I'll be sure to let Ben know about Colby's comment. I know it will bring a smile to his face. Colby really reminded him a lot of our boys at that age.

This fall I'm going to try to start up the Thursday evening meetups again since it looks like there is some interest ... maybe you can make it to one of those.

Keep up the great work. A the rate that you are going, I won't recognize you the next time I see you.

Barb
