This really depends. I know that their office has been going through some major personnel changes recently and I imagine that it might impact their workflow, so I don't know. I do know that they have changed some of their processes as well as the personnel since I went through the system and it actually will probably help things run a bit more smoothly. One of the things that they are doing now is reviewing your application and putting together a packet that indicates the types of tests that they would like you to have done when you come to see them for your initial visit. It takes a little longer for you to get that initial packet since they are taking the time to review your information to determine the tests they'd like you to have done, but I think it streamlines the process in many ways because you can have a lot of the necessary tests done as you are waiting for your initial appointment.
When my husband began the process this spring it took about 3 weeks for him to get his packet and about another 6 to 8 weeks for him to have his initial appointment with them.
I hope that this helps some.
Good luck,
Barb
