I'm back.............

And just when yall thught it would be safe to come out and play on the boards. You can't keep me down. I'm staying with my mom for a few days (she's a worry wart about me). I've got to say that I'm in absolutely no pain. I'm belching and passing gas like a beer drinking trucker. My boys are really impressed by it. And yes I'm available for party tricks. Dr. MacDonald was able to do it laproscopically so that was a huge blessing to wake up to. I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Pitt. I felt like they went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and my family was accomodated.

I am walking and sipping at a pretty steady clip this morning. I have never been in love with a food as much as I was a sugar free orange popsicle that my mom gave me last night. It was the bestest of the best.

I want to thank everyone again for keeping me in their thoughts and prayers. I know it makes a difference. I am truly blessed to have found a group of friends like yall. Donna - tell Miss Shelby that my angel is sitting on the headboard of my bed looking out for me when I sleep. Miss Annie - my boys tell me they have a box to bring me when they come down later today. Thank you so much for the candlelight vigil. I know it worked because I was joking my skinny nurses that I was coming back next summer and giving them a run for their money. I feel woderful and am ready for this ride.

I hope each of you has a blessed day. Do whatever it takes to make it great...

Glad to see you are sailing trhough this. I hope I will do as well when I finally get there. My sister has boys and they too were impressed by all the funny sounds she could make after here surgery. I have girls but they were definitely influenced by my sister so hopefully they will appreciate my sudden expelsions cause I am not holding back!

Hi Iris!!

Glad to see you're back on the board, and that your surgery/hospital experience was a positive one!!  You have such a wonderful attitude - I just know you are going to be a great success story for WLS.  (Hey, and you even came away with a new way to entertain your guys, LOL!!)
I look forward to following your losses in the days, weeks, & months to come.  But for now, just enjoy Mom's good care & keep on passing that gas!!
