I saw it too!  That was the the most incredible relay I have certainly ever seen!!!  My heart was pounding too.  I remember about half-way through the last lap when we were still behind I started screaming "PULL!!!  PULL!  YOU CAN STILL DO THIS!!!"  and he started to streak past the others!  It was incredible!!!

I am an Olympics junkie too.  Always have been.  Ever since I was a kid.  My mother was one too!  LOL

Yesss!!!!  That is one of those moments in life I will never, ever forget!  I even woke up poor hubby with all my hootin' and hollerin'!

One of my favorite things was when the kids were younger and they would mimic all the Olympic events for months, especially gymnastics.  I miss that part of the Olympics here at our house!

It's a life's dream to actually attend someday, so we are waiting with baited breath to see if 2016 will be held in Chicago.

I was lucky enough to attend the Olympics when they were held in Los Angeles. I remember being at the Santa Anita horse park at 4:30 am to watch them warm up and get a good seat for the show jumping, thanks Dad for getting up and taking us!! We also got to watch the gymnastics when Mary Lou won her golds!!!!

Back to last nights race... Ok so I was not the only one going nutzo LOL I was screaming, cheering, crying and had the blankets all over the floor off my bed jumping up and down like a crazy person!!! oh it was THE race of a lifetime!! Im watching again right now as we speak.. LOL Im going to get no work done these next two weeks!

It was fabulous!!! You could feel the adrenaline pumping. The excitement was absolutely palpable. They'll be playing that clip the rest of the Olympics I'm sure, bu****ching it unfold was absolutely amazing. While I know that everyone will remember that this garnered Phelps a real chance at smashing Spitz' gold run, Lezak's leg actually bested Phelps.

By the same token, I truly felt for Katie Hoff when Addington of GB bested her in nearly the same fashion as Lezak beat Bernard.

I'm looking forward to more tonight too!

Are you kidding me? I DO NOT have any tears left and I still have a week and half to go LMAO every single time one of them gets on that podium with a gold I lose it... I dont know how they can just stand there and not have a total and complete crying meltdown... because thats what Im doing as Im watching them what can I say.. Im very sentimental when I hear our anthem being played

We love, love, love the olympics at our house!  I've been excited for months!  Even the opening ceremonies were incredible!  Really...probably one of the best ever.  I just loved all of the symbolism in everything.  & I'm so excited for all of Team USA.  They're doing fabulous!
