NC Meet and Greets

Does NC have any socials, meet and greets, walks, etc. near the Fayetteville Area?

There used to be a support group that met in Dunn. It was discontinued due to a lack of interest.

Right now, I have a support group that meets in Raleigh once a month. The next meeting is next Saturday and we have a few folks from the Fayetteville area that come to that. You can get information for those meetings at http://wls.meetup.com/101

Sdub i live in Durham and have wanted to attend the raleigh support group meeting,just hate to be the only new face.If you decide to attend let me know id go on the same day as well.

We have just started having them in Greenville, NC also (about 2 hours from Fay) and a couple of people down your way come up.  Watch the board for dates/times of the next meet-up. We'd love to have you join us in either Raleigh or Greenville! :)

I'm in New Bern and I'm game for a Greenville get-together. It's only an hour drive for me. My Dr. is in Greenville too. Are there any others that come from the New Bern area that you know of? Congrats on your weightloss, Mindy! Your original BMI is about what mine is now as I start my process. I'd be very interested in hearing more about your experience since I'm starting off about where you once were.

Have you thought of a new meetup?

I will definitely have to check out the support groups in NC!!!! Harold, we can decide when we wanna go and go together. Sounds great!!

If any new meetups do start in the Fayetteville area, I am definately interested.  Right now we are down to one vehicle so I can't even think about going somewhere further away since DH has to have the van (which the a/c is out on) for work.
