OMG - Splenda Too! (may be TMI)
Now I've found out that Splenda does the same thing! I've been drinking one 16.9 oz bottle of water with a packet of Crystal Light to Go but I've had to quit drinking that because IT UPSETS MY STOMACH!!!!!! (Do not be in my way when I head for the bathroom) - Has anyone else experienced this with Splenda.....Should I wait until after surgery to get rid of my stash of Crystal Light to Go or should I get rid of it now??????????

A lot of my family members have probs with artificial sweeteners and it works on them like a laxative. I drink lemon propel which doesn't have it and it is 20 cal for the bottle and 4 g of sugar BUT it has quite a few vitamins in it and I feel it is a good trade off. I try not to drink more than one or two bottles a day and drink plain water in between.
I am still struggling with the smoking. Chantix is gone for me due to horrendous cramping and being afraid to hurt my pouch. I will do it but my family wants me to leave for a week while i do since i get so dang irritable. Either that or they will leave. Kid leaves for college on 8/14 so may try then and hubby will just have to stay out of my way.
Take care, Pam
We've just got to tie a knot in that thread we're holding on by. lol I am doing better. In the mornings I may think "hmmm cigarette" and that's the end of it. I've taken to chewing (and smacking) a lot of gum during the day. The only time I want one is when I get off work...my "whew time". Then it's not even the nicotine cravings, it's just the habit rearing it's ugly head. I think about sitting back and relaxing and smoking a cig. That's the time I have to get my mind distracted and hands busy. I haven't been on my computer a lot lately because that is a sure fire trigger for me. Once my online classes (algebra and world lit) start in August I hope I'm over this hurdle!
Hang in there kid - and remember I'm hanging with you!

OMG, Annie you are right! Well, duh! We aren't supposed to use Equal (aspartame) after surgery. This goes to show that you have to read it for yourself. One of my friends put me on to the CL and I just took her word for it when she said it was sweetened with Splenda.
Guess I'll be giving my stash to my friend.
Thank you for the info!
