Another fill today...
I had another follow up today and received a fill. I am doing SOOOO much better since my last fill. I had made a commitment to get back on the wagon and have been successful in doing so. I could tell a difference with the foods I had been eating since my last fill but I've been really controlling my portions and snacking myself, more so than being limited by the band. Back to being on liquids,puree.....
My next hurdle..EXERCISE! I know I sooooo need to do something, as I was reprimanded today by my Doc. Arg...I'll figure something out. Maybe I need to get hypnotized...."You love exercising and will participate everyday"......ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz LOL!

Come down to my house, Ill take you to the base and let hubbys friends run you through the Marine Corps daily 16 and then take you on the obstacle course and then for a run and I WILL join you
I would have hubby take us out himself but he is currently deployed
I know its hard to workout, I hate exercise, always have and always will.

I'm six months out from LapBanditry and had a really great fill about three weeks ago. It FINALLY made me feel like I had a true restriction, and the past three weeks have been a whole new ballgame. I no longer feel like I'm having to "diet" but can really work with this amazing tool I have.
Now it's obvious that there's a physical limit to how much I can eat. I never had felt that before this past adjustment. I really, really HAVE TO be conscious about what and how much I eat when I sit down at the table, because there is just no freakin' way I can get in my protein if it's not the first thing I tackle on my plate.
At the same time, I still struggle with "mind hunger," where my mind has a bigger desire for food than my stomach can handle. So the Band is not a solution, and I sometimes have to go through all kinds of mental contortions to keep myself from reaching for something that's easy to swallow but that doesn't have the nutrient quality that I need.
As for exercise, my younger daughter's home from England now and we have only one car, so I have to strap on my backpack sometimes and walk or bike to the grocery store or library or whatever if she's got the car. And I'm biking to my second job frequently so the car isn't just sitting in a parking lot for hours when she might be using it for something IMPORTANT, such as having coffee with her friends.
Would you like to borrow my carless daughter???? LOL
