OK I started counting down days to surgery at 53 days - guess what??? single digits baby....9 short days till SURGERY. I'm so excited, emotional, scatterbrained, obsessive/compulsive, extremely talkative. I feel like I'm in a whirlwind - it's a good place to be but strange nonetheless.

I'm trying to stay focused on work and family things but my mind is going at warp speed.

Iris before you know it the 08/08 will be here. I am very excited for you and can't wait until you have crossed over to the loosers bench. It is so worth it. I do not regret anything and would do it again in a heart beat. It was nice meeting you at the lunch on saturday and hopefully Donna and myself will be able to come see you at Pitt. Dr. MacDonald is wonderful and he will take good care of you.
