Really great news! OT
I am sitting here in the post op room listening to my DH snoring away. He has very clean and healthy arteries thak you very much. He had his heart catheter procedure and did very well and is sleeping off his happy meds. now we just make sure he heals at the incision properly and he will most likely be allowed to go home later this afternoon. I am so glad there is not much to worry about with him for a good number of years and he is healthy as a horse. He will be just fine when I go in for my surgery and ready to drive me crazy hovering afterwards. So I can do a happy dance.

What wonderful news, Ann! It's really sweet that you are both taking care of one another during your journeys to better health. Tell him to heal up quick because his turn is coming up soon!
hehe
Sincerely, I hope his incision heals well quickly and that you both are snuggled up at *home* by tonight.

Hi Ann,
I'm so very glad to hear that he got a clean bill of health.
Congratulations to you both!

Wow! What can I say but thanks for all the good wishes and prayers you all sent our way. We got home middle of the afternoon after picking up his Rx on the way. He laid down and took a really long nap and I put a relaxation cd in the player and went through the steps and just released any stress I had and feel pretty good as well. He's doing great and Doc says 48 hours of no running around or climbing stairs or lifting over 5 pounds and then he can do whatever he feels he is up to. Turns out there is no incision they just insert the catheter the same way they to an IV. But since it goes into a bigger artery they just have to make sure it remains closed and needs a pressure bandage for 24 hours instead of 15 minutes. I am just happy he doesn't have a lot of procedures and more testing to go through. We just have to make sure he does his annual physical stuff after he has his follow up next month. He is happy he has no dietary restrictions or activity restricitions. Whew!
