... my official approval letter from BSBCNC. Its one thing to hear my Dr's ofc tell me im approved but to actually see it in writing..

Congrats! When mine came, it reminded me of this song:

.....kept thinking BCBS jerkin' me was how it's gonna be....
.....but after all those nights I spent feelin' sorry for myself....
.....they're gonna PAY....and I'm livin' anew TO-DAY!!!!!

It's such a great feeling huh? I got mine last week. This week was the week of dishing out money for my surgery on Friday:

Hospital=$845
Pre-op meds=$92
RNY and being thin again=PRICELESS!!!

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
